The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) invites students, parents, and counselors to explore the college search process at the NACAC National College Fair in Boston held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and Friday, May 3, 2024 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. The fair will be held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

DESE has partnered with uAspire to provide free financial aid resources and webinars to high school seniors in Massachusetts. Upcoming offerings include:

• Financial Aid Offer: Students who applied to college and completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be receiving financial aid offers soon. uAspire will hold a webinar from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24 to provide students and families with critical information to interpret their financial aid offers. uAspire advisors will share details about the different types of financial aid, best practices for reviewing and comparing financial aid offers, and next steps after determining how much each college will cost. There will be an opportunity to ask questions. Please register online.

• Summer Steps: From 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, uAspire and DESE will hold a webinar about the timeline for high school students in the months before entering college. Topics will include understanding and paying the college bill, applying for outside scholarships or additional loans, and other financial aid steps. There will be an opportunity to ask questions. Online Programs

5-Day Online Boot Camp

July 15 – 24, 2024
Cost: $1,850

This program is for recent high school graduates or current college students looking to gain skills and build confidence before the fall semester.

Landmark College’s experienced faculty will help you discover:

• What science shows us about what we can do to improve our attention, memory, and motivation

• Specific strategies and technologies that can support your skills in notetaking, reading, writing, memory, and organization as a successful college student

High School Summer Program

Who Should Attend? Rising high school juniors and seniors who find it challenging to keep pace academically and want the chance to experience college.

July 6 – 27, 2024
Cost: $5,990—Traditional Track or $7,190—Social Pragmatics Track (includes room, board, and activities)

Landmark College’s High School Summer Program offers students the chance to experience college life as members of a learning community focused on academic achievement, mutual respect, and personal change and growth.

Our Social Pragmatics Track draws on the evidence-based PEERS® curriculum to support students with autism or similar diagnoses.

Summer College Readiness Program

Who Should Attend? Recent high school graduates preparing to enter college in the fall. (Admission to a college other than LC is required to participate.)

July 14 – 27, 2023
Cost: $4,060 (includes room, board, and activities)

This program focuses on preparing college-bound high school graduates—through practice and exposure—for their crucial first semester of college.

Students are immersed in a living and learning experience that offers a real taste of college-level work and  will begin to understand and embrace their transition from adolescence to emerging adulthood.  Students develop a clear understanding of their learning strengths and needs, while discovering various resources and self-advocacy aids that will assist them in the transition to college.

Summer Bridge Experience

Who Should Attend? Current college students who are struggling to find solid academic success.

July 7 – August 10, 2024
Cost: $8,500 (includes room, board, and activities)

This program builds executive function skills, and helps students develop the comprehension, writing, and executive function skills needed to return to their home college and find success.

Participating students can earn up to 3 college credits, depending on their chosen area of study.

*Physical Education courses are an additional cost.
